이 교과목은 NCS의 ‘패턴’ 직무와 ‘제직의류생산’ 직무를 중심으로, 산업 수요 맞춤형 인력 양성에 기여할 수 있도록 교과 내용을 구성하였다. 또한 체형에 대한 이해와 기초 봉제 기술을 습득하면서, 글로벌 의류 생산에 관한 기초지식을 배우는 과정이다. 여성복 하의류에 해당하는 스커트 및 팬츠의 디자인, 소재 선정, 제도, 재단, 제작까지의 전 과정을 실습함으로써, 의복 생산의 과정을 이해하고, 생산 관련 전문 용어를 학습하며, 의복의 구조 및 패턴 개발의 기본원리와 개념을 익히게 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
With a central focus on the “pattern” and “apparel manufacturing” roles of NCS, the curriculum was customized to train manpower suitable to meet the industry demands. This course introduces basic knowledge regarding global clothing production with the student acquiring an understanding of the different body types and basic sewing technologies. Students experience the entire process of design, material selection, drafting, cutting, and producing female skirts or trousers as practical training to gain an understand of the production process for clothing, to learn the technical jargon in production, and to become familiar with the basic principles and notions of clothing structure and pattern development.
